The Lotus Side Table was born out of Vinci's personal need for a movable side table. The design was inspired by the captivating sight of the West Lake and its thousands of lotus plants. This table is not just a piece of furniture, but a solution to different needs and tastes. It is a testament to Vinci's ability to transform a simple need into a work of art.

What sets the Lotus Side Table apart from other designs is its unique properties. Created for relaxed, friendly moments, it can easily fit into any environment. The table's form, inspired by the lotus plant, features a handle that invites the user to move it around. Its unique structure allows height control, and its scratch-resistant surface uses eco-friendly technology, making it durable and sensitive to its inspirational roots in nature.

The Lotus Side Table is not just about aesthetics, but also about innovative realization technology. The table is designed to be stable, thanks to a metal base that serves as a ballast. It is lacquered with electrostatic powder coating, a 100% green technology that is resistant to scratches.

The Lotus Side Table is also interactive. It features an adjustable system that allows the user to set the top at a height between 45 and 74 cm. It is designed with a handle that invites the user to move it around to different places and activities. Consisting of four elements, the Lotus is easily assembled in just a few simple steps.

The design process of the Lotus Side Table was not without challenges. Initially intended to be made entirely of metal, the design evolved after a focus group expressed concerns about the sound of metal and potential injuries in case of a fall. The solution was to change the top to MDF, but this led to issues with thickness, straightness, and finishing. The application of electrostatic powder coating technology on the MDF board was the answer to these challenges.

The Lotus Side Table is a testament to Vinci's innovative design approach and commitment to eco-friendly solutions.
